Swift made Sport Springs Spec-R is made for true track racing enthusiasts that wants to take their vehicle to the next level.
Sport Springs Spec-R is engineered with 2 main characteristics.

1 Redesign lowering ride height to maximize the suspension performance allowing the vehicle to fully absorb road condition for maximum traction.

2 Increase in spring rate to further enhance cornering speed through entry & exit. The increase in spring rate is based on the vehicle factory stock valving settings. Sport Springs Spec-R is increase to the optimal rate that the stock shocks can handle. Higher performance shocks are not required, but recommended.

Spec R springs are wound with the same engineering as our sports springs. With the exception of stiffer rates and slight change in ride height; you can expect the same characteristics as our sports springs.

    Perfect

Had a few spring setups in the past and they where very sloppy and bouncy. I've had the Swifts on for a few months and am very satisfied! Stiff but not over the top, I drive about 30 miles a day to work and they feel amazing!

    excellent drop with functionality

Just installed the Swifts on my 2012 speed 3.... Long story short i " had " H&R sport springs... The saggy rear that seems to be common with them was irritating and looked like garbage.... So after a few local NATOR Buddies told me to just get the SWIFTS I wouldn't regret it, i did... Install was a breeze and the stance is even, rides perfect, can't wait to try them out at the DRAGON... ENM 2015

    Very good quality springs

I was debating between these and a Pro-Kit from Eibach and I am very pleased with Swifts. I felt more of a difference with the Swifts than the Pro-Kit I owned in the past. Better acceleration, sharper direction and overall very good road feel are among the changes I experienced. Sure they're a little bit more pricey than some other options, but IMO they are a great choice for anyone who wants a performance lowering springs kit. They lower the car just enough for a nice sporty look without compromising driving performance. Handling has definitely improved and is way better now.

    Goodjob Swift!

Great service from edgeautosport, received these in less than a week to Canada had these installed with my factory ms3 shocks/struts. It was between prokit or swifts and from lots of research I went with Swift thank goodness I did. Ride quality riding over smaller bumps and cracks are more absorbed over the stock ms3 springs, but mainins more grounded around turn & accelerations. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!

    Best Springs Ever

Drop is just perfect, Ride is smooth and is not that low where you have to worry about most imperfections on the road, is a liiiitle bit bumpy but nothing to worry about. Car handling improved a LOT!! Will recommend to everyone I know

    Swift Springs on MS3

Posted by Unknown on May 7th 2013

I purchased these springs from Edge after doing research on MSF for a while and have been very satisfied. I have used other brands on past cars I.E. Eibach, H and R, Neuspeed, etc. but feel the difference in the ride and performance of the Swifts. Its not just a cosmetic drop or a performance spring, it's both! The car still has a comfortable ride but holds the line in turns and you loose the annoying dip inbetween gear shifts. The mild drop gives the car a great aggressive stance that won't have you rubbing tires in fenders and dragging over bumps. Swift has done its homework as they have done on all their applications, and have made a great product for the MS3. Oh and for the people who are going to complain about the extra $50 to $75 dollars......Really!

    Awesome

These springs are a great upgrade for your MS3. I have always been unsure about lowering the car because of the ride quality of most springs, but after reading reviews of swift spec-r I'm glad I chose them. To me the ride quality is better then stock and handling is great and i'm on stock struts. Car looks sick now. As far as installation it is a little envolved on the front the rear is cake. Word of advise when removing the strut cap take the dust boot a loose from the bottom of the strut first or you will have 30 ball bearings raining down on you. Overall worth ever penny.

    Best springs for gen2's

Posted by Unknown on Jan 8th 2012

These springs are great. They spent a lot time engineering these. Retains 90% of the stock comfort, they feel much like stock but actually are close to 35% stiffer. Certain bumps actually feel softer, but that is because Swift springs react quicker. There is definitely an improvement with the handling, even with stock struts. Even though they don't look it, these springs are linear rate springs. At static ride height (when car is on the ground), the closer wound coils on the bottom collapse and become a linear spring. You will defiantly enjoy these springs, even with stock struts. They look great too, great stance. You get what you pay for with Swift, 100% worth the extra $.
